The front zipper is surprisingly smooth for a costume piece, and the fit hugs my waist just right without digging in. Wore it to a comic convention all day and got tons of compliments—it totally pulled my outfit together.
The mock buckles look surprisingly convincing up close, so I got compliments at the convention before anyone even noticed the zipper. It cinches my waist just enough to give that hourglass shape without digging in, and the short length works perfectly over a high-waisted skirt.
The front zipper makes this way easier to get on and off than my other corset belts, and those mock buckles have held up through a whole day of wearing it to a con. It cinches nicely and adds just the right amount of edge to a plain outfit.
